The Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation has entered into a collaborative agreement with Quality Plus Aesthetic International Co., Ltd., and Phoenixict Co., Ltd. (Sinwattana) for the further development of  the MELB (Making Life Better) Platform to support new normal practices after the COVID-19 outbreak as well as the life sciences industry.           Dr. Sirasak Teparkum, Deputy CEO of TCELS, explained that the Center and its two strategic partners initiated the MELB Platform, a crowd-funding model for the medical supply chain, to contribute medical supplies to hospitals during the COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand. The three parties later agreed to develop the second phase of the MELB Platform as a center that would link the healthcare supply chain and demand, and also serve as a supportive mechanism for fund raising, matchmaking between manufacturers, inventors and medical personnel, standard testing, as a database of product registration as well as the development of various platforms. MELB is expected to strengthen the medical and healthcare supply chain and improve the quality of life of the Thai people.
