There might be misconception that robot needs to be in humanoid form that composes of head, legs, and arms. However, it is not necessary for robot to be humanlike, but only a robotic arm would be enough and it is widely used within the industrial plant and production. In the developed country, robot, especially robotic arms, has been widely used within the factory since the reducing number of worker in manufacturing sector. The medical robot or robotics have been widely used mainly in order to response for aging society. And, it is a response to the higher demand or healthcare and limited supply of medical personnel. The examples of medical robots are surgical assistant robot, child development robot, patient monitoring robot, public relation robot, medical and prescription dispenser robot, chemotherapy assistant robot, and factory medicine producing robot.
