Taiwan Foreign Trade Office and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) in collaboration with Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Thai Medical Device Technology Industry Association (THAIMED) organized a seminar and business negotiation event, "Thailand-Taiwan Smart Healthcare Seminar & Trade Meeting 2019", on 20 September 2019 at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit to present Smart Healthcare products, modern medical technology and innovation to initiate the business matching the two countries.

          Similar to Taiwan’s industrial development plan in technology focusing on its expertise in producing medical innovative products, this event was promted by the Thai government's 10-year plan to become Asia’s medical center responding to health and medical needs.  Hence, this event was the showcase of Taiwan’s outstanding products, granted Taiwan Excellence Award. Through rigorous processes and various selecting criteria, namely research and development, design, quality and marketing, these companies included Hiwin Technologies, Advantech, IEI Integration, Mediland Enterprise, Imediplus and Faspro Systems.
